It's just "Pre" from "View", so it's just a function to check the image easily, but it can also do some bonus image editing. Tetsuya, a Preview believer, says that when he makes the background transparent, he circles the background freehand and erases it little by little. "That's definitely messy! Let me see!" he said, and I asked him to show me his work, and it was really beautiful. It was a much more beautiful transparency than my Photoshop, which I don't use well. It was frustrating.
