Video link from Sitio Terra Santa • GOAT FARMING AT SITIO TERRA SANTA... Instagram do Sitio Terra Santa / sitioterrasanta Goat cheese is not easy to find and when I do, it's only the fresh kind. But I really like the kind that smells of goat, so things get complicated. It's impossible to find, since Brazilians like milder flavors. When I heard about this couple in Nova Trento, I made every effort to meet up and make the video. I would like to thank Paloma, Glaico's daughter, who produces organic products in Paulo Lopes. It was a 3-day immersion in nature, Middle Eastern cuisine and life stories of this young rural couple of Israeli origin who chose Brazil to live, work and procreate. They had their 3 children in Brazil. Daniel is 9 years old, Maia is 4 and Michaela is 5 months old. They are brave! And privileged are the children who grow up in this space of nature, diversity and freedom. I am grateful for the welcome the couple gave me. I felt like family with them, an older brother exchanging experiences with the younger ones. I have great admiration for those who leave the comfort of their homeland and try to make a living abroad, especially when it is to produce real food. Their work is hard. They could be earning more in the city, but they realized that gaining quality of life is much more valuable than having money left over in their bank account. I am grateful for having welcomed me, Israel, Bianca, Dani, Maia, Mica, Yone and Clésio. May their endeavor be an inspiration and nourishment for souls seeking peace and love. Shalom! Todah rabah! PS By the way, the cheeses and yogurt they produce are wonderful!!! If I lived nearby, I would be a regular consumer!!! Too bad I am a gypsy in this incarnation...
