Our village of Asuka, with its rich natural scenery, is loved as the "hometown of the Japanese spirit." Many ruins remain in this landscape, including ancient tombs, temples, palace ruins, and stone statues. In order to recognize the importance of Asuka Village's precious ruins and landscape, we are working on preservation and environmental improvement projects so that many people can see them. As part of these preservation activities, Asuka Village and Kansai University signed a regional cooperation agreement in February 2006 to further promote mutual exchange, and as part of this collaboration, we produced this video as part of the ancient ruins reproduction project (Ishibutai Tomb - The mystery of the construction of a huge tomb) over a two-year period from 2009 to 2010.
