A journalist searches for and finds a body: It is a case about a body that no one should or wanted to find. Despite clear evidence of a dead man whose body is lying in a forest area, the Cologne police are not investigating at first. Until a persistent reporter gets involved. Düsseldorf journalist Günther Classen († 2023) gets a call at the beginning of 2016. A man tells him about a homicide. He also tells him where the body is. Classen then goes to the police, but the officers do not believe him. Günther Classen keeps on at it anyway. He finally convinces the police to search for the body with him in the forest. But at first this is unsuccessful. The police have long since given up, Günther Classen continues to search - with success. The victim is family father Dennis S. from Cologne. The police start an investigation and quickly find Christoph S. The perpetrator and victim knew each other from a time in prison together. They remained in contact even after their release. Then an argument escalates. Christoph S. kills Dennis S. with a knife and hides the body in the forest. Host Hamzi speaks with Express journalist Michael Kerst. He worked with Günther Classen at the time and followed his work on the case. Police scientist Prof. Antonio Vera explains how police deal with tips. The question also arises as to whether the police made a mistake in this case.
