???? Learn how to invest with me: https://sard.ink/3I2cMct Do you think it's possible to live off income with R$500,000? Well, for some, R$500,000 may not be much, but this money can make a big difference in your life and can even help you achieve financial freedom. For this reason, in today's video, I simulated how much income R$5,000,000 invested in real estate funds and fixed income would generate. Which would be the best option? Let's find out. What is living off income? The stage we call living off income is when all your expenses are paid for by the income from your investments. These investments can be either on the stock market or outside of it. Example: your relative who owns several properties and rents them out lives off income if all his expenses are paid for with the value of the rent. On the stock market, it is also possible to live off income by investing in dividend-paying stocks, in real estate funds that generate monthly dividends and in fixed income, it is possible to have a return capable of covering your expenses with just the value of the investments. How to live off income? To live off income, you just need to have an amount invested capable of covering your monthly costs with just the amounts received. To live off income, you will need to follow some steps, such as: Step 1 - have a financial organization of how much you spend and how much you earn; Step 2 - spend less than you earn, saving the amount at first; Step 3 - have an emergency reserve (which is nothing more than having the value of 6 to 12 months of your monthly fixed costs in your checking account or another accessible place); Step 4 - invest every month in income-generating assets (real estate funds, properties, shares of dividend-paying companies, fixed income, among others); Step 5 - reach the amount where the income you have per month is equal to your monthly fixed costs and other expenses. How much to invest to live off income? The amount to be invested for those who want to live off their income depends on how much you want to receive and also on the type of investment you will make. For example: if we consider an investment in real estate funds (which pay monthly dividends) that yields around 1% per month, and your expenses are R$5,000.00 per month, you will need to invest R$500,000. The most interesting thing for those who want to live off their income is security. If you intend to stop working, you need to invest in solid assets and with a diversified portfolio, to ensure that every month you will receive the amount necessary to live. Is it possible to live off your income with R$500,000? As I said before, the amount you need to invest depends on how much you spend per month. If you are a person who has monthly expenses of R$5,000.00, it is possible to live off your income with just R$500,000, through an investment portfolio focused on receiving dividends.
