'Philosophy with a Taste of Chocolate' A Conversation with Dr. Gholamhossein Ebrahimi Dinani In April of this year, an Iranian group was selected to participate in the conference on Happiness and Prosperity in Iranian Thought held in Strasbourg, France, and embarked on this journey. The two prominent and main figures of this group were Dr. Gholamhossein Ebrahimi Dinani, a professor of Islamic philosophy, and Dr. Karim Mojtahedi, an active figure in the field of Western philosophy, both of whom are well-known figures in the Iranian philosophical field. During this trip, a two-part documentary called "Philosophy with a Taste of Chocolate" was prepared by Dr. Mahmoud Asadi, Secretary of the Permanent Figures Headquarters. In this documentary, which includes conversations with two philosophy professors, Dr. Mojtahedi and Dr. Dinani, important and interesting topics that are mainly philosophical and mystical in nature are shared with Dr. Dinani, and he explains and discusses those topics. These topics include: thinking about death and the relationship between man and death, mystery and secrecy in the field of mysticism, immortality and suffering, Suhrawardi's wisdom and its global influence, the differences between the Western and Iranian spaces, the dialectical philosophy of Hegel and Heraclitus in Rumi's works, the game of life, the greatness of Ibn Rushd and Ibn Arabi in the Islamic world, the carbon affair, and weekly meetings. Gholam hossein Ebrahimi Dinani (Persian: غلام حسسین عبراهیمی دینانی; born on 26 December 1934 in Isfahan) is an Iranian philosopher. He is best known for his researchs and writings about illuminationism and Shahab al-Din Suhrawardi. The three-time winner of Book of the Year award in Iran, Ebrahimi is an academic staff member of University of Tehran, Tarbiat Modares University and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. His best received books are Wits and Wisdom (خرد و خردورزی) and Nature and Destiny (سرشت و صرنصف).
