#hiking #elbsandstonemountains #hiking Today I'm taking you to 2 great vantage points in the back of Saxon Switzerland. First we go from the Sturmbauers Eck car park in the Kirnitzschtal to the Kleinsteinwand (climbing peak) with the impressively large cave. From there we go up to the Kleinstein behind it with a view of the Kirnitzschtal and towards the Großer Zschand. The further path then leads through the forest and through the upper section of the Goldbachtal. There the path is hardly passable. After the Goldbachtal we go to the Arnstein. Before that there is a beautiful vantage point at the Tägers Wonne. The climb up the Arnstein is a bit more demanding. There is also a cave on the Arnstein, which can only be reached through a narrow gap. Once you get to the top, you have a wonderful view as far as the Affensteine and the Falkenstein. At the end of the 14th / beginning of the 15th century there was a castle on the Arnstein, the Ottendorfer Raubschloss. The way back is then easy along a wide hiking trail back to the car park. Overall, a moderately difficult tour, for which you need a certain level of sure-footedness. Tours nearby: Lorenzsteine: • Extremely exposed! - The Lorenzsteine... Teichstein: • On adventurous paths to the Traumau... Webergrotte/ Sommerwand: • Hidden dream view - Webergrott...
