The metal housing ensures a permanent, stable connection, against oxidation, corrosion and to avoid interference. This connector is the first choice when the cable length is not sufficient and therefore needs to be extended. The tool-free design enables quick installation in around 2 minutes without special crimping tools. The screwable metal sleeve is also easy to dismantle. Repeating the installation is also easy.
