Serbia failed to take advantage of something that is a natural state, that poor countries progress faster than developed ones. Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic took advantage of this. Those Central European countries started with a third of the income per capita, and now they have gone to almost two thirds, Miodrag Zec, a retired professor of the Faculty of Philosophy, told Insider in an interview.
