Earth, water, air, life and lithium batteries - what is the price of progress and who pays it? It's just one of the questions in the new Insider debate, which will discuss, among other things: How safe is lithium mining? Can processing technologies eliminate environmental hazards and who guarantees this? If the profession also has different views, on what basis do citizens take a stand on lithium mining? How did we get to the dilemma - money or life? The participants of the Debate on Insider TV are those who are referred to by both opponents and advocates of the project, namely scientists. Professor of the Faculty of Forestry, Ratko Ristić, and engineer hydrogeologist, Vladimir Marinković, who is also a member of the Departmental Committee for Environmental Protection of the Democratic Party, represented a part of the profession that advocates the complete abandonment of the project, which they claim can permanently damage the environment.
