Inland vessel Sivali with additional barge on Lek, Princess Beatrix locks and Lek Canal. Lek is a Dutch river that from Wijk bij Duurstede forms the continuation of the Nederrijn and joins the Noord at Kinderdijk. The Jan Blankenbrug is a bridge over the Lek near Vianen included in the A2. The bridge is named after Jan Blanken (1755-1838), the first Inspector-General of the Water Board. The Lek Canal is a canal in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The canal is less than four kilometers long and connects the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal with the Lek. The Princess Beatrix locks is a lock complex in the Dutch municipality of Nieuwegein with three locks. They form, via the Lek Canal, the shipping connection between the river Lek and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal.
