The weather was on my side!! Finally, the fourth time I reach the top of Mount Sagro, I can enjoy a breathtaking view! And not only that: I'm right above the clouds! I can see mountains hundreds of kilometers away, like the Ligurian Alps, Monviso and the mountains of Corsica. Mount Sagro is the westernmost peak of the Apuan Alps and, from the Tuscan coast, it appears as the farthest mountain. Thanks to its particular shape, since prehistoric times it has been considered a sacred mountain, so much so that it became a true natural sanctuary.
