There is no calamity that befalls (someone), except by the permission of Allah; and whoever believes in God, God will guide his heart. And God knows all things. - Surah At-Taghabun, Ayah 11 A person who is patient will be given guidance in his heart in the form of faith. Al Qomah a tabiin said, a person who suffers a calamity then he realizes that this calamity is God's destiny (And remember that God is loving, compassionate, so we are sure that it is not possible that God will abandon His servant) then he will face it with contentment and his heart will be safe. Conclusion Patience in facing God's destiny is one of the signs of faith in God. Evidence 2 (Page 465) In the Sahih Muslim from Abu Hiroiroh that the Messenger of Allah said There are two habits of humans Because of these two habits they can be disbelievers. First, reproach the lineage. Second, mourn when someone dies. (Kafir asghor) Conclusion Lamenting when a misfortune befalls the law is haram because that attitude is the opposite of patience. Evidence 3 (Page 466) Muslim Bukhari Hadith from Ibnu Masud, people who hit the face and tear clothes and raise the slogan of ignorance (group/tribe fanaticism) are not included in our group. Conclusion It is unlawful when misfortune strikes to do things that show impatience. Evidence 4 (Page 467) On the authority of Ana's bin Malik, the Messenger of God said when God wills His servant, God will quickly punish him in the world. And if God wants evil for His servant, God will not judge His servant in the world. So that the punishment is on the Day of Judgment. The punishment in the afterlife is more severe and the time is longer. Imam surah Al Qodhi is grateful for 4 things when disaster strikes. Conclusion The characteristic of a believer is to be patient when facing God's destiny. Because he believes that is the best. Note: cannot ask for punishment in the world. Because we will not be able to. In addition, there are other means of removing sins such as repentance, doing good deeds. Proof 5 (Page 469) HR Tirmidhi, the Messenger of God said, verily, the greatness of the reward corresponds to the greatness of the test. And if God loves His servant, He will test him. Whoever is pleased will get pleasure from Allah And whoever is angry will get wrath from Allah. Said ibnul qoyyim, if the one who suffers a misfortune is patient and expects a reward. Conclusion The servant's pleasure in facing God's destiny will bring God's pleasure.
