On June 9, 2018, to mark the 90th anniversary of the port, the VTE 2.38 (ex. AKN) of the Ascherslebener Verkehrsgesellschaft commuted between the freight station and the port on the branch canal in Hildesheim. Travel comfortably and exceptionally in the railcar down to the port and visit the attractions there. Have fun!
