(06/29/2019) The Turin-Ceres railway is a regional railway line of the metropolitan city of Turin that connects the Piedmont capital to Ceres passing through the Reggia di Venaria, Caselle Airport and the Valli di Lanzo; it was opened for successive sections from 1868 to 1916. Since 2003 it has been managed by the Gruppo Torinese Trasporti, while in the past it was managed by the Società Anonima Canavese per la Ferrovia Torino-Ciriè (SACFTC), by the Ferrovia Torino-Ciriè-Valli di Lanzo (FTCL), by the Ferrovie Torino Nord (FTN), by the Gestione Commissariale Governativa della Ferrovia Torino-Ceres (FTC) and by the Società per Azioni Torinese Trasporti Intercomunali (SATTI).
