The Carpathians are the only mountains in Ukraine. There are no endless and deserted spaces here, like in Siberia on the Putorana Plateau, where I lived on Lake Ayan for most of my life. Finding a secluded, wild place in the Carpathians is difficult. However, if you climb the mountain ranges, you can find wild places that are far from people and not subject to anthropogenic impact. I decided to go to one of the Carpathian ridges of Kukul to find a secluded place where I plan to live for a whole year and make a film about the nature of this wonderful land.
