Once I had decided to build a camper from my everyday 5-seater VW Caddy Maxi, it was clear that the conversion had to be simple, tailored to my manual skills and my small toolbox, the conversion should not be very expensive, and the Caddy should be able to be converted from an everyday vehicle into a camper as quickly as possible. After a long search for a simple solution, I came up with the idea of ​​building the conversion from 4 modules that are screwed together and to the floor panels, so that the whole thing is screwed to the vehicle. Here I will show you my idea, which works very well in practice. This way you have a quick and simple solution that converts the 5-seater Caddy into a fully-fledged camper in 1 to 1.5 hours.
