In Derbent district, memorial plaques were unveiled in eight settlements located on the territory of schools in the settlements of Michurino, Berikei, Ullu-Terkeme, Tatlyar, Salik, Chinar, Mitagi-Kazmalyar and Sabnova. These memorials became a tribute to the memory of our heroes who fulfilled their duty to the Fatherland. The names of the heroes who died in the special military operation in Ukraine are forever inscribed in history: Izyatov Dadash Tapdygovich, Bagomedov Gadzhi Islamovich, Askenderov Ainur Ikhtibarovich, Shikhmagomedov Murad Shikhmagomedovich, Magomedov Zulpekar Dalgatovich, Adzhabaev Murad Magomedovich, Mirzaliev Mirzal Nabirovich, Ramazanov Razim Nadirovich, Mirzaev Maksud Seferovich and Mamaev Rauf Abilfazovich. The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Derbent District Mavsum Ragimov, relatives of the deceased, teachers, schoolchildren and other officials. In his speech, Mavsum Ragimov noted: “We bow our heads in memory of our fellow countrymen. They courageously and to the end fulfilled their military duty and gave the most important thing, defending our country - their lives. We must remember this and pass on this memory to the younger generation. The memorial plaques that you see before you will serve as an example of preserving the memory of real Heroes. Our Motherland is, among other things, all of you standing here. Preserve this memory, talk about our heroes, and then this memory will live forever.” The honorable right to open the memorial plaques was granted to the Head of the District and the parents of the Heroes. After a minute of silence, flowers were laid at the memorials. For their bravery and courage, Izyatov Dadash Tapdygovich, Bagomedov Gadzhi Islamovich, Askenderov Ainur Ikhtibarovich, Shikhmagomedov Murad Shikhmagomedovich, Magomedov Zulpekar Dalgatovich, Adzhabaev Murad Magomedovich, Mirzaliev Mirzal Nabirovich, Ramazanov Razim Nadirovich, Mirzaev Maksud Seferovich and Mamaev Rauf Abilfazovich were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. Schools where memorial plaques were installed will become a place where students will preserve and pass on the memory of the courage and heroism of their fellow countrymen from generation to generation.
