THE III CICOP INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE 2024 WAS HELD WITH GREAT SUCCESS Organized by the International Center for the Conservation of Argentina's Heritage, CICOP Argentina, the College of Architects of the Province of Buenos Aires - District 5, and CICOP Uruguay, the congress called together historians, anthropologists, teachers, architects, museologists, artisans, tourism graduates, and the general community to participate and contribute to the debate on cultural appreciation. The first stage took place between October 31 and November 1 in the auditorium of the UNSAdA rectorate. The congress addressed the preservation and enhancement of Intangible Cultural Heritage, promoting the exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of conservation strategies. On Saturday the 2nd, the activity took place in La Matera del Parque Criollo, Museo Gauchesco Ricardo Güiraldes, where posters were displayed and prizes and certificates of participation were awarded. On Sunday the 3rd, a post-congress was held, organized by CICOP Uruguay, which took place in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, where there were round tables, a visit to the Calera de las Huérfanas and a walk through the historic neighborhood.
