Chistye Prudy 01:32:32 Igor Vladimirovich Talkov is a Soviet rock musician, singer, songwriter, poet, and film actor. At the beginning of his career, he collaborated with the groups "April", "Kaleidoscope", and "Electroclub". During this time, Igor wrote many songs, but he did not have the opportunity to perform them. He first became known to the general public after his performance in 1987 at the "Song of the Year" festival with the composition "Chistye Prudy". After this, in order to share his own songs with the audience, many of which differed in musical style and lyrics from the works he had performed before, Talkov created the group "Lifebuoy" and soon went on tour with it with a program consisting of two parts: songs of civic content and lyrics. By 1989, Talkov had written more than two hundred songs. Talkov's work is difficult to classify into any particular genre; it is located approximately at the intersection of pop music, rock music and art song. He was killed on October 6, 1991 in St. Petersburg in the Yubileiny Sports Palace under unclear circumstances.
