May 13, 2011. Concert for veterans and siege survivors Igor Rasteryaev gave a concert for the 66th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Spiritual and Educational Center of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra. Only veterans and siege survivors were invited. The venue for the concert was not chosen by chance. A holy place -- holy people... No longer young, they are, of course, far from the Internet and from concert venues. Nevertheless, some of them were already familiar with Igor's songs. A gray-haired veteran films the concert, an old lady -- a siege survivor -- says: "Yes, I listen to Igor's songs -- I like them very much"... They did not contact any outside organizations, parties, foundations, etc. -- they did everything themselves. Fans of Igor's work -- members of the VKontakte group -- helped with the concert. They sincerely surrounded the veterans with care, respect and gratitude for the Victory... For Igor, this was a responsible concert, because in the hall there were people who once gave us all the right to life, and among them was Igor's grandmother. ... It was difficult to read their feelings and emotions on the veterans' faces... But every now and then you could hear a whisper: "Oh, he sings well", "Well done", "A good guy"... The last song "Eh, roads" was performed by the choir: it was well known to those gathered. The unity of generations is great... A touching picture ended this evening: the veterans gave Igor flowers tied with the St. George ribbon, which were given to them before the start of the concert... This says a lot...
