I have tried and tested quite a few new things and now I will tell you about them. Let me start by saying that I tried on a new-to-me winter suit, which performed more than excellently in the sub-zero temperatures. The whole day I caught a lot of bream of sizes 300-400g, but between them I also caught two bonus fish. One was a barbel 1,450kg and a huge moronage weighing almost 1kg. The Bolognese I caught with was Trabucco heaven BLS Master 5m The biggest surprise of the day was the super budget reel that performed more than excellent! I also used the interesting cralusso floats with replaceable antennas, which helps with winter fishing for striped shad. Interestingly, the walleyes that day responded better to the bait I was feeding rather than white worms with the dropper. Because we all know that at sub-zero temperatures the guides of our fishing rods freeze. I personally use rubber band lubricant by applying it to the guides and thus reducing the freezing of the guides themselves.
