On November 4th, I went to the Tokyo National Museum Heiseikan to see the special exhibition "Kakujia Warriors: 50th Anniversary of National Treasures" - Haniwa. There are five Haniwa Kakujia Warriors on display. It's one national treasure, and apparently they're all brothers, made in the same kiln in Ota City. All four are from Ota City. They were the model for the movie Daimajin, and were brought home from the Seattle Museum in the US. Photography is allowed inside the venue, but flash and video are prohibited. It's on until December 8th, and it's definitely worth going. #Tohaku #Haniwa #TokyoNationalMuseum #NationalTreasure #KakujiaWarriors #Haniwa #Haniwa
