As soon as she told her boss she was pregnant, Tayná started to be treated differently. Her former boss even said he couldn't trust her because she was pregnant. The day she returned from maternity leave, she was fired from the company, in a call where the guy didn't even turn on his camera. Luckily for Tayná, if we can call it that, she knew she was going to be fired because of the way her coordinator treated her during the months she worked at the company while pregnant. With this thought in mind, she decided to move on and go back to studying something she had abandoned: design. In between changing diapers, watching a newborn cry and breastfeeding, she took some courses and started getting some occasional jobs as a designer. When she was fired, despite the frustration, she was already prepared. What could have been very painful became a relief for Tayná. She was able to dedicate herself to creating her own company: Mama Fox, where she provides visual identity services to companies and small businesses, without having to choose between motherhood and her career. In these two years of Mama Fox, Tayná has already hired another mother to work alongside her. Choosing a mother for her team was a small step for her, who still dreams of having a network for other women who don't give up their careers because of motherhood, nor feel guilty about having to work while leaving their children at home or in daycare.
