I visited a historical house with a wonderful spirit in Büyükada. This house belonged to the Greek shipowner Arvanitis, but after the island was taken over by the population exchange, it changed hands 3 more times and passed to the last owners Füsun & Ali Şener couple, who have owned it since 1993. We are visiting this house, where every corner smells of life and history, accompanied by our dear host Füsun Hanım, who has brought it to the present day without spoiling its texture. Füsun Hanım has preferred to decorate it with antiques that fit the texture of the house. She tells us about the history of the house and gives us valuable information about the structure and decoration.
