It was super complicated to do it, but I managed it and it was also interesting to try the challenge with the app and discover new things, did you know that you could talk to Angela via a chat? or that she could see you?! absurd! plus the answers she gave were mind-blowing.. Attention. Is there someone hiding behind the kitten? There is alarm for "Talking Angela", the app so loved by kids that allows you to interact with a virtual kitten as in a real chat. In recent days, some parents have contacted the Postal Police to report the presence of something decidedly “ambiguous” in the game on their children’s smartphones and tablets. It would seem, in fact, that through the eyes of the talking animal, both the minors and then the parents themselves, have clearly identified the silhouette of a middle-aged man, sitting in a sort of office, with a bookcase behind him. Not only that, but also the decidedly intimate questions posed by the game have disturbed the children, all between the ages of 9 and 11, with an explicit request for personal information, such as name, surname and address. And, in one reported case, even the proposal of a possible meeting. The incriminated game belongs to Outfit 7, the company that makes other series such as Talking Tom and Talking Ginger, apps that allow the player to interact by answering coherently to the questions asked, but also to participate in quizzes and interactive games, such as “petting” the kitten through the touch screen and taking care of it. Although the manufacturing company has denied the news that emerged from various reports from around the world, among web experts there is talk of a possible attack by hackers who, having taken control of the application, use it to spy on and take pictures of children, given that, as soon as “Talking Angela” is downloaded, a webcam is immediately activated. The hypothesis that it is just a hoax is distanced by the numerous reports of upset parents who are contacting the police throughout Italy.
