I finally made up my mind and stayed at a hotel on Ještěd. I sleep at an altitude of over a thousand meters above sea level, the hotel room windows are whipped by the wind, and a romantic dinner is being served in the restaurant downstairs. They have two menus - one for the day and one for the evening. Shall we try both? Is the room warm? Does the internet work, and what about the soundproofing? We will look at the history of Ještěd, explore the building as an architectural unique piece, and enjoy a night in a retro room. The film Grandhotel was filmed here, and when the weather is nice (which doesn't happen very often here), there is a wonderful view of Liberec. The entire building is almost a hundred meters high. I am surprised that even the highest rooms (on the sixth floor) can be reached by elevator. What kind of breakfast is there? And is it easy to get to the hotel by car?
