I went to the Tölz spa. Not only because of the Big Ben series (originally Der Bulle von Tölz), but also to soak up the pre-Christmas atmosphere of Bavaria and the foothills of the Alps and check out the local Advent markets. In addition to sleeping in the four-star Alpenhof hotel, where I will have a surprisingly good breakfast, we will visit the Big Ben series museum and then I will go on a tour of the Pension Resi.
