MOTORCYCLE TRIP: I should NOT have bet with him EP05 Hey Tripper's! In today's episode, we left Pelotas and went to Ametista do Sul, a little over 500km. We arrived in Pelotas by motorcycle during rush hour, and we're leaving during rush hour too. We took a lot of bad roads, lots of trucks on the road. Lots of stop-and-go! But traveling by motorcycle and being on the road is like that. It's part of it! Remember that we always have our faithful companions with us: Teneré 250 and Honda CB500x. Two incredible motorcycles that go very well together. We arrived in Ametista do Sul in the late afternoon, and camped at Camping do Vale. Which is actually in Planalto, about 4km from Ametisa do Sul. We paid 25.00 per person. We camped on the riverbank and it was incredible. Getting to the campsite by motorcycle is a bit of a struggle, because there are a lot of loose rocks and a huge climb. But it's totally worth it, you know? Quiet and peaceful place to spend the night. Equipped with bathroom, shower with hot water, sinks, everything a traveler away from home needs. And our motorcycle trip through southern Brazil is coming to an end, huh?! This must be the penultimate episode of the Casino Expedition series. Traveling by motorcycle is always great, it's incredible, and the experiences are countless. But when you encounter a lot of bad roads, and trucks on the road with no possibility of overtaking, it ends up becoming a more tense, time-consuming and even riskier trip, as it requires triple the attention on the bike.
