The first bushes have now been planted and I am very excited to see how they develop ???? I hope that they grow into a beautiful privacy screen and develop well. The following native bushes have moved into my garden: ???? Dog rose (Rosa canina) With its delicate flowers, it is said to magically attract bees. In autumn, rose hips decorate the branches, which are even edible. It has been planted directly on the small path next to my garden house, so that a small passage to the rain barrel can be formed in the next few years. ???? Wicker (Salix viminalis) Fast-growing and versatile: The wicker is said to provide structure and offers a habitat for birds and insects. With regular pruning, it can be kept as a wonderful bush and you can even use the willow branches for craft projects. ???? Black elderberry 'Korsor' (Sambucus nigra 'Korsor') This elderberry not only produces magical flowers in spring, but also delicious berries in late summer. Perfect for syrup, jelly or simply as a snack! I'm really looking forward to it ???? The Korsor variety grows taller than wide. ❄️ Woolly snowball (Viburnum lantana) With its velvety leaves, white flowers and decorative berries, it is an eye-catcher all year round. Because of its probably intense smell, I planted it a little further away from the veranda ????
