She lived in hell on earth for ten years until one day she realized that she needed to put herself first, and this happened in a very difficult way. When her ex threw a frying pan of hot oil at her, Silvana ducked to protect her dog, who was at her feet, and not herself. At that moment, she understood once and for all that she had never put herself first. But that was when she broke a cycle of pain and suffering. With only her dog in her arms, she went in search of her freedom and it was in a basement that she found it. The basement had no windows, it was just a dark and lifeless room, but Silvana made it her home for many, many years. For her, that was not her rock bottom, but the springboard that propelled her to get where she is today. Still in the basement and with a lot of willpower, she returned to work in tourism for the elderly, a public that made her discover her calling. It was in this basement that she also began to gain notoriety in her city, Petrópolis. Silvana became president of the local forum, an active voice in the fight for the rights of the elderly and also a radio host in the region. Little by little, bringing a lot of love and care wherever she went and receiving it in triple, she began to truly understand that she was worthy of love too.
