To this day, only one of the three prototypes of this car has remained in IMBiGS, two of them were sold to private users. In 1987, FSC Starachowice became interested in the Polish Unimog. The new design, provisionally called UniStar, is based on a modified chassis with a running gear from the Star 244 and 266, while the cabin and power steering system were taken from the 1142 series cars. The concept of the drive of the working machines has also changed; the mechanical drive has been abandoned in favor of only a hydraulic drive, which has been improved with electronic control. The source of the hydraulic pump drive has also been changed, they are driven directly from the engine, not from the gearbox (as before).
