I fell in love with this almost unknown town! Maimará is certainly not an unknown town but it is very little visited and almost ignored by tourists who visit the Quebrada de Humahuaca. This is what I mean with the title since I was surprised by the beauty of its viewpoints and the warmth of its people, but nevertheless I did not come across any visitors. Tilcara, Humahuaca and Purmamarca are overflowing with tourists while Maimará is the perfect town for those who want to enjoy a quiet space with a relaxed pace of life. The colors of the mountains, known as the Painter's Palette, the vineyards and the delicious gastronomy that we can find definitely stand out. Maimará surprised me with its beauty and I can fervently say that it is a beautiful town to visit in Jujuy and continue getting to know every corner of our beloved Argentina.
