For these tests, we’ve got the all-new Porsche Taycan Performance Battery Plus, Tesla Model 3 Long Range, BMW i5 eDrive 40, BYD Seal Design, Polestar 2 Long Range, and Mercedes EQE 300. The question is, how far can they go compared to their claimed range? Let’s take a closer look at their specs. The Taycan has a 97 kWh battery and is expected to have a range of 430 miles (677 km). Next up is the Polestar 2 Long Range, which has a 79 kWh battery and is good for 410 miles (653 km). Then there’s the Model 3, which has a 75 kWh battery and is good for 390 miles (627 km). Next up is the Mercedes, with an 89 kWh battery that can travel 611 km. Next to last is the BMW i5, with an 81 kWh battery that can travel up to 582 km.
