Even the most skeptical will be surprised by Ana Claudia's story. She grew up without knowing her father or her paternal family, but in 2003 a dream turned the life of the Rio native upside down. In the dream, a man introduced himself, hugged her and said he was her uncle. When Ana woke up, she went to find this man and discovered the whole story that had been denied to her for years! Ana had always tried to get in touch with her father, but she had never been successful. In 1998, her half-sister called her and told her that the man had died. After hearing this news, she gave up on finding out more about her paternal family and went on with her life as normal. Years later, in 2003, she had a very brief and strange dream. She dreamed of a very large man hugging her, introducing himself and saying he was her uncle. When she wakes up, that name stays in her head and she searches for a phone book at home to find out if that person really existed, but she didn't have a list at home, so Ana gives up looking and goes out to take care of her business on the street. Walking down the street from home, she finds a doorman from the neighboring building with the list of subscribers in his hand and approaches him (and scares him because of his excitement) asking to see the list. She quickly explains what's going on and goes in search of the name of the supposed uncle from the dream. And she finds it! When she calls and tells him who it is, her uncle says he already knew it was her! They spend hours on the phone, with her full of questions about the family she never met. From this conversation, they arrange to have lunch at Ana's paternal grandmother's house, in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. On the day, she discovers that everyone had always wanted to meet her, but for family reasons they hadn't gone looking for her. But that doesn't make the meeting any less special; on the contrary, it seemed like it had to happen exactly as it did. Currently, Ana still has contact with her paternal family, especially her uncle Jair, who she dreamed of and who she became attached to as a daughter. And an interesting point in this story, which makes us believe that nothing happens by chance: on the day of the recording with ter.a.pia, October 27, 2021, Ana's uncle was celebrating his birthday.
