"I never wanted to write for children, but when I was writing the novel Hana, I had bad dreams and couldn't sleep. Children's books took me back to the landscape of my childhood. It's great psychotherapy," says writer Alena Mornštajnová. Her book for children, Christmas on Rose Street, was recently published. "Fairy tales are quite similar. When there are princesses, the limits are already set. I don't plan to do that now," she adds.
