Can this be caused by over-acidification? What are the causes of a low pH value? That is exactly what I am going to address now and I will tell you what you can do about it yourself. When we doctors talk about so-called acidosis, we mean over-acidification or acidic blood. Other terms that are often used in this context are "acid-base balance" or "acid-base equilibrium". Understanding the causes of this and knowing what this means is very important, both for you - I'll come to that now - but also in acute emergencies, for example in emergency medicine and especially in intensive care medicine. Intensive care patients often have severe imbalances of acid and base. Renal insufficiency, for example, can trigger hyperacidity. But there is also what is known as "chronic latent hyperacidity", and this is where you come in. Our "everyday life" can also influence our acid-base balance and thus affect symptoms such as tiredness, reduced performance or pain. Hyperacidity, especially permanent hyperacidity, is very likely to have a negative influence on certain illnesses such as rheumatic illnesses, gout, chronic pain, etc. In general, it can be said that the body functions best in a slightly alkaline environment between pH 7.36 and 7.44. When the body becomes too acidic, the balance is thrown out of whack and bodily functions are impaired. In the video, I name 5 causes of chronic latent hyperacidity. Feel free to watch them in the video. Reducing these causes is of course crucial to getting the acid-base balance back into balance. I will also give you 2 tips: 1. Eat more citrus fruits such as lemons and grapefruit. These may taste sour, but are metabolized in an alkaline way. Tip: Drink plenty of water with a dash of lemon. 2. Significantly reduce your consumption of white flour, sugar, and other stimulants. ▬ About this channel ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ With “Video Visit Dr. Weigl” you have found the current, medical-scientific channel that describes topics relating to pain, medicine, and #health in an understandable way but based on facts, guidelines, and studies.
