On the afternoon of the 27th, lawyer Tsukasa Okumi, who represents Governor Saito Motohiko of Hyogo Prefecture, held a press conference in Kobe City to express his views on the online publication of an article claiming that a PR company was in charge of all of Governor Saito's election public relations in the gubernatorial election held this month. Okumi pointed out that "the article contains some parts that are true and some parts that are not true at all." He said, "In particular, the part that says that I entrusted the PR company with all of the public relations is completely untrue." He further emphasized that some of the contents of the article are not true, saying, "I recognize that (the story) is being exaggerated."
