Hey everyone, a completely different video today. Flowers - 1000 good reasons and the Artmeyer tree nursery enabled us to shoot a fantastic video about hydrangeas this week. It was a wonderful day, even if the weather wasn't quite playing along. In this video I've summarised the 5 most important points that you absolutely need to know about hydrangeas. 1. Varieties 2. Location and care of hydrangeas 3. Which hydrangeas are winter hardy? 4. Pruning hydrangeas, when and where? 5. Colouring and potting soil for hydrangeas My conclusion is that hydrangeas are so incredibly grateful and easy to care for that they really are an ideal container and garden plant. Panicle hydrangeas or Annabelle are even great for slightly sunny sandy areas. I personally like the Diva Fiore variety. An absolute perennial bloomer that flowers until late autumn. There are of course other beautiful varieties. It is important that the plant develops new flowers all summer long! So I can already say that in the next DIY I will decorate a hydrangea beautifully in a pot! Once again a big thank you to the Artmeyer family, Niklas Wienczowski and Stefanie for training, caring for and pampering us so well. Have fun watching and I am sure that you learned a thing or two. If you liked it, just give it a thumbs up! And if you still have any questions, just write them in the comments and I will try to answer them with my current knowledge.
