Video Workshop K-POWER.RU Issue thirty-two - today in the Junkman's Corner the engine from a hybrid car Toyota Prius, 2nd generation (2003-2009 years of manufacture), volume 1.5 liters 1NZ-FXE. The engine mileage is an unreal 700 thousand km, most of which - on gaseous fuel. The car has survived FIVE repairs of the battery and an engine replacement due to overheating and loss of antifreeze. The 1NZ-FXE engine works as part of a hybrid synergy drive, which, in addition to the internal combustion engine - an electric motor, an electric generator and an electric battery. The power of the 1.5 engine is low - only 70-77 hp (torque 110-115 Nm), the engine on solid tappets and works on the Atkinson cycle (high compression ratio and wide intake phases).
