About :

The production of hybrid corn seeds uses a different technique than grain production. Due to the need to crossbreed between strains in order to obtain the hybrid, these must present a certain synchrony in their cycle. If this is not possible, the producer can resort to Split, which consists of sowing the strains at different times for both so that flowering occurs at the same time.
