On the way home, the shoemaker visits one of his comas, where he reveals the secret. The woman and her husband exchange the miracle animal for an ordinary lamb while the cobbler sleeps. The Wind King then gives the Bootsmaker a tablecloth and a staff, but these are no ordinary objects either. With the help of the third gift, the poor man manages to get everything back. * * * * Hungarian Folk Tales season 1 The Poor Cobbler and the King of the Winds The wind king gives a magic lamb to the poor cobbler as a present, but tells him not to try it out before reaching home. The cobbler sleeps at one of his friends on the way home, and he talks about the secret. The envious friend and his wife exchange the magic lamb for an ordinary one. The wind king gives the cobbler a magic tablecloth which would always provide him with food and drink.
