People are different from each other and this is completely natural - we have different views, needs and experiences. Each of us is affected by something different, which is why an individual approach to the patient in the process of psychotherapy is so important. Many therapeutic trends have developed over the years. One of them is humanistic psychotherapy, in which the therapist focuses on the feelings, experiences and self-perception of the client. This therapy is supposed to build a sense of freedom, understanding and security. Is this really the case? What are the main assumptions of humanistic therapy? What techniques characterize this method? What does scientific research say about the effectiveness of humanistic therapy? Who is this therapeutic trend aimed at? Is humanistic psychotherapy available in Poland? How to find a humanistic therapist? These and many other questions will be answered by Dr. Paulina Trojanowska-Malinowska, psychotherapist, sexologist and educator. The meeting will be led by Zofia Szynal.
