Important How does the brain learn a new language? Knowing how the brain learns languages helps you not to be fooled. First of all, here are the bibliographic references for the video: LIGHTBOWN, Patsy M.; SPADA, Nina. How languages are learned 2003 PINKER, Steven. The language instinct 2003 CHOMSKY, Noam. Processing lexical semantic and syntactic information Does the brain learn by repetition or is there more to it? Obviously there is more to it. Knowing how the brain learns neuroscience can explain well, now, knowing how we acquire or construct language... most research is educated guesses from several studies, hypotheses and refutations. There is nothing wrong, but let your brain learn English naturally and you will see... the results are astronomical. How did we learn to speak? It was certainly not by pure grammatical learning, or even by pure practice on our part. If we didn't know anything, how would we practice? Keeping this in mind is knowing how polyglots study languages. Brain and languages are complex things, as they move our perception of the real world. There is several research that seeks to differentiate how we learn our mother tongue, and how the brain learns a new language, beyond the one we learned when we were little. But, how does the brain work to learn languages? We go through several processes, neuroscience, languages and science go together... but sometimes it is said that there are methods to copy how children learn languages. Do you really want this? Adults have several advantages when it comes to learning languages, and neuroscience for learning languages is usually just... a marketing ploy. Nothing against marketing! Everyone should make a living one way or another. And I, as you can see in the post I sent you when you signed up for my waiting list, believe in the power of learning languages as something that opens doors and windows for human beings. So, any method is valid. I support them all. I don't support lies. The so-called neuroscience for learning English is sometimes sold as a magic formula. But, if we don't even know how we learn languages, how are we going to sell the potion without knowing how it works? The scientifically correct way to follow is how polyglots learn languages. There is a lot of neuroscience research there, practical things to learn. That's because adults do have advantages when it comes to learning languages, as I mention in the video How to Learn Any Language Knowing how to learn any language on your own is what I call a high-value skill. Just think, you can buy an English kitty somewhere. Yes, you can. But... if you need to learn another language, you'll have to buy more and more courses. So far so good, I've already said that I support any course or method that encourages you to learn a new language. The problem is, what if you buy it... and don't do it, if it doesn't work? Knowing how to learn any language faster is having a system that allows you to learn any language in 6 months, or even less. The 6-month period here is hypothetical. You are the master of your ship, you can adjust the time according to your available time. Sign up for the list! Share this video: • How the Brain Learns a New Language... #polyglot #RPGFluency #Eli
