The Karlsplatz station is the largest underground station in the Vienna underground network. Three underground lines meet here: the U1, the U2 and the U4. This makes the question all the more exciting: how was the whole thing actually built back then? In this video I want to show you how extensive the construction work at Karlsplatz was back then and what challenges there were when building the station.
