Welcome to the Paper braids channel! Today I share with you a cool video, where I show in as much detail as possible all the processes and stages of creating a Gnome from a paper vine. For the body, I took a foam ball. If it is not possible to purchase the same one, then I think that you can make a small ball from paper, and then, winding the vine, form the desired size. In my case, about 50 tubes were used for winding. I twisted the tubes from a strip of paper 13.5 cm wide onto a skewer. It took 34 tubes for each pair of shoes. As I already said in the video, for wrapping the legs and arms, I used tubes that are not as empty inside as for the body, but 10.5 cm wide on a 1.5 mm needle. Floristic wire 1 mm thick. Dwarf hat: the height of the cone was 17 cm, the diameter of the base was 12 cm. I needed 120-150 tubes for such a hat. Polymer glue was used, although hot glue can be used to fasten the decor. I didn't have it. The polymer one was also great. Acrylic primer and varnish from the Aura company. The result was a Gnome 40 cm tall.
