In this video, we show two possible tests for the pulse coil or pulsator coil: one test with a multimeter and the other with a colorless LED. The Pulse Coil's function is to inform the module of the piston's dead center position and the crankshaft's rotation speed through magnetic pulses. This makes it possible to precisely generate sparking in the spark plugs. The pulse coil is located inside the engine cover next to the stator and the magneto flywheel. Both are connected to the main wiring of this cover, where they will transmit the electrical pulses to the module and the stator to the rectifier, thus forming part of the motorcycle's electrical system.
