VATSIM: Next up is a short flight in New York from John F. Kennedy Airport to make a VISUAL approach on runway 31 at La Guardia Airport. In order to be able to talk to people LIVE instead of using the poor quality ATC that the simulator comes with, you need to download an application called VATSIM. You must register and download it here: https://www.vatsim.net/ VATSIM is a very large community of flight simulators where you can interact with people who play the role of air traffic controllers. They are excellent professionals who take simulation seriously and many of them are students to become air traffic controllers as well. They make the Microsoft Flight Simulator experience much more realistic for those who want to get as close to reality as possible! There are 2 videos. The first one shows the whole preparation part for takeoff from JFK Airport in New York. Part 2 will show the whole landing part at La Guardia Airport, also in New York. Enjoy!
