In 2022, the helpline did not receive a single zloty of government support. In order for the helpline consultants to continue to help children in crisis, the help of private donors is necessary. In mid-January, entrepreneur Aleksander Twardowski launched a fundraiser for this purpose, thanks to which it was possible to collect over PLN 1.95 million (as of January 31). This astronomical amount will certainly protect the helpline from closure, but it does not cover 100 percent of the annual budget of the helpline. This is approximately PLN 3.5 million.
