It presents the research that you propose and must be convincing: it must be validated by your thesis director, then by the laboratory and doctoral school administrations. But that's not all: ideally, your doctoral project must allow you to integrate into a professional landscape. It must allow you to participate in large-scale projects during the doctorate, and to integrate professionally after the doctorate. Today, I suggest we talk about the parts that structure the doctoral project. Without funding for three years, I completed my thesis thanks to funding from the very prestigious Yale University. During my studies, I was faced with many questions and like most PhD students, I was very poorly supported in all my efforts and my journey has really been that of a fighter. I have always been keen to help PhD students. At the beginning of my doctoral studies, I was elected to represent PhD students on the Laboratory Councils and the doctoral school, and now I want to devote myself entirely to supporting PhD students. Why? Because if I had been supported myself, I would have saved precious time, I would have made fewer mistakes, I would have fumbled less and I would have asserted myself much more quickly in the research community. I would have lost much less energy and probably earned my living much sooner.
